Hillcrest PDS Elementary

  • Hillcrest PDS is adopting an elementary school that suffered destruction from Hurricane Harvey -- Hull-Daisetta Elementary, located in southeast Texas between Houston and Beaumont. 
  • Three fifth-grade students are taking the lead on this donation drive, and all items can be dropped off in the reception area of HPDS through the month of September. Please give your items directly to a staff member rather than leaving them at the desk.
  • HPDS has a goal to collect 2,000 items from the list below:

-tissue, baggies, cotton balls, wet wipes, spirals, learning games, notebook paper, stickers, flash cards, note cards, white card stock, puzzles, antibiotic ointment, ice packs, bandages, medical gloves, student folders w/ pockets, white and colored copy paper, poster board, glue, markers, pens, pencils, crayons, highlighters, learning posters, learning games, tape, erasers, and paperclips

  • The Class of 2018, National Honor Society, the Art Club, and Interact joined together to collect gently-used, wearable clothing, bottled water, baby supplies, and hygiene products.

  • ISMS was a collection site for Primera Iglesia Bautista's donation drive.
Lake Air Montessori Magnet
4601 Cobbs Drive
  • LAMM collected toilet paper, baby wipes, coloring books and crayons.
  • LAMM will be partnering with Wilson Montessori and Garden Oaks Montessori in Houston after those campuses have an opportunity to assess their needs.
West Avenue Elementary

  • West Avenue collected monetary donations for Red Cross.

South Waco Elementary

Bell's Hill Elementary

  • Bell's Hill students collected toothpaste, toothbrushes, bars of soap, wet wipes, deodorant, shampoo, and conditioner.
  • The staff of Bell's Hill collected school supplies.
Waco ISD welcomes students who have been displaced from south Texas due to Hurricane Harvey.

If you are staying at a hotel or shelter, please contact our Homeless Outreach Services Department at 254.755.9433. They will assist you in determining a campus placement.
